SOft PretZels

Hari ini ingin mencuba resipi yang baru... tadi ternampak satu resipi yang agak mudah didalam internet. So dengan tidak berlengah lagi resipi nya dicatikant kedalam buku resipi lalu cuba membuatnya. Nah hasilnya... :)

Dough ingredients

1 1/2 cups warm water
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 package active dry yeast
4 1/2 cups flour
1/4 cup melted butter

In a large mixer fitted with the dough hook, add the water, sugar, and salt to the bowl. Sprinkle the yeast on top and let the mixture sit until it begins to foam, about 5 minutes. Add the flour and the butter. Mix on low speed until combined. Increase the speed and let the mixer knead it for about 5 minutes. You will know that the dough is done when the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl and the dough is smooth. Transfer the dough to another bowl that has been oiled with some vegetable oil or cooking spray. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it sit undisturbed in a warm place until the dough has doubled in size, about an hour.

Turn the dough out onto a floured board. Divide the dough into 8 pieces. Roll each pieces into a 24-inch rope. Make a U shape. Take the two ends and twist them over each other and bring them down, attaching them to the bottom of the U. Press firmly to seal. Place the pretzels on the prepared sheet pans.

Brush with the egg wash and sprinkle salt on top. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes or until the pretzels are golden brown.
